What about red
De kleur Rood ligt aan de basis van alles, ligt aan de basis van het leven, heeft een ritme, het ritme van Scat.
Scatten is het zingen van woorden als klanken die elkaar in snel opeenvolgende ritmes opvolgen.
In mijn schilderij heb scat verwerkt door woorden te verbeelden. Belangrijkste vertrekpunt daarbij is kubisme en futurisme vanwege hun binding met ritme, hun kracht en brutaliteit.
Mijn ondergrondse Rood, is daarbij vanuit de schaduw in het daglicht getreden. In dit werk kent Rood zijn kracht door de tegenhangers die er zijn, in kleur en in de beeldvorming als communicerende vaten.

What about red
The colour Red is at the basis of everything, lies at the basis of life, has a rhythm, the rhythm of Scat.
Scat is the singing of words like sounds that follow each other in rapidly successive rhythms.
In my painting scat has been incorporated by depicting words. The most important starting point here is Cubism and Futurism because of their connection with rhythm, their power and brutality.
My underground Red, has emerged from the shadows into the light. In this work Red knows his strength through the counterparts that are there, in color and in the image as communicating vessels.
